I first saw Abby Lee on a Vogue cover and shortly after in a leading role alonside Gerard Butler. We shot this portrait session together in my 'home' Pier 59 Studios in New York and I have rarley photographed anyone who has such a natural underastanding of figurative form. I chose this photograph to be the cover of my 2014 publication 'Angels' because it was a perfect balance of shape, provocation and her breathtaking beauty" RUSSELL JAMES
